Apart from being the capital city of Nepal, Kathmandu is originally a place rich in cultural heritage sites. On this day, we take you on a half-day tour to visit the holy and precious stupas of Boudhanath and the Swoyambunath. Swoyambunath Stupa is also popularly known as the Monkey Temple, due to the fact that its premises are also a home to monkeys. We also utilize some time checking up your gears and assist you to do some last minute shopping – if necessary.
Early morning pick up at your hotel then transfer to domestic airport in Kathmandu for a 35 minutes adventurous flight to Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, we introduce you to rest of our trek staff; then we begin the trek to Phakding which is short and pleasant. Initially walking down the Dudh Koshi river and then heading north, through couple of small settlements, we reach our lodge in Phakding.
